We recommend a personal consultation with one of our experienced staff members in our showroom. We are open Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., with evenings and Saturday by appointment. If you prefer, we will meet with you in the comfort of your home.
Many of our clients who live out of town order through our website. We will communicate and accomplish all we need by phone, email, fax, US mail or Face Book. We will also send you a photo of the completed memorial when it is delivered to the cemetery.
After ordering, a completed memorial is usually delivered in 4 – 6 weeks (in stock items). Specialty monuments and markers may take longer to finish. Factors such as special order granite or bronze, design complexity, custom laser etchings, photographic inlays, veteran plaques, cemetery schedules or weather conditions may lengthen the completion time. At Black Monument, our work is done in house by are own craftsmen and artist. We have total control over the work on your memorial. So, if you have a specific date you would like the memorial delivered to the cemetery, please let us know and we will do our best to meet your need.
Yes, we can! We are able to duplicate most colors, shapes, size and designs.
There is a wide range of choices and options for memorials. From material, size, shape, engraving, cemetery fees, vases and photos, it simply is not possible to include pricing on our website. Prices for markers start at $350, not including cemetery fees or tax. Often budget is a particular concern. We will recommend materials and options for meeting your specific need. We maintain an indoor and outdoor showroom so you may stop in and see the many options available. Or feel free to contact us, we are happy to answer any questions you may have.
Yes, by planning ahead you choose the style, size, color and design you prefer. What better way to help ease the confusion, stress and burden from our loved ones than to plan ahead.
Yes, we guarantee our memorials will not crack or disintegrate from normal exposure to the elements and are free from material defects. We are not responsible or liable for damages occurring due to cemetery upkeep, vandalism or acts of God.
Yes, we can create the memorial and have it ready for delivery in the spring, prior to Memorial Day. Cemeteries do not pour foundations during the winter months, thus limiting our delivery during the wintertime.
Government provided veteran markers and plaques are usually ordered through your funeral director. If not, we will be happy to explain the options available and assist you with ordering a plaque, granite marker or emblem. Black Monument offers services of having the memorial mounted to a granite base, a companion memorial or an existing monument.
