Riverview Cemetery, located at 2925 Niles Road, offers full burial lots, cremation lots, and columbarium niches for sale. Columbaria are located throughout Riverview Cemetery.

The St. Joseph Cemetery Board is charged with the administration and management of the city cemeteries. The City Charter provides that the board shall have such powers and authority as may be necessary for the care, management, and preservation of all city cemeteries and cemetery grounds, tombs, and monuments and is charged with directing the improvements and embellishments of the grounds and cause such grounds to be laid out into lots, avenues and walks. The Board also directs the expenditure of monies provided for the cemetery, sets rates, and develops rules and regulations relative to burial and other matters pertaining to the cemetery.

Worked with us throughout the entire process and had a great attitude through it all. Thank you Shelley! You were so helpful to me in getting a headstone. It was a unique request for my great uncle who died as a baby with the influenza epidemic of 1918, he never got a marker. You helped me through all the decisions, some I had no clue like the lettering and shiny or mat finish.I can’t wait to see the finished product when it’s delivered. Thanks again Shelley!

Besides human gravestones and cemetary markers, this company also offers pet memorial stones, like the kind you'd put in a garden and/or next to a backyard burial site. What makes Black Monument Company stand out is that they actually do the etching of the words right there in-house vs. a couple other places I called in town (pet cemetaries like Noah's) where they have to send away for custom stones, which takes days or weeks and costs more money. I was very happy with Black Monument Co - the pet grave marker they designed is a perfect sweet way to honor the memory of my dear departed furry friend.
